Removing an Article's Attachment

To remove a file or Internet address attachment which you have associated with an article:

•	Make sure that the Article Window is open.

If the Article Window is not open, double-click on the article's title in the Titles column of the Index Window. If the article is not listed, refer to the procedure for Finding the Information You Need.

•	Select the Article Properties command from the Article menu. Then move to the Attachments tab.

OR Click on the Article Attachments button on the Tools Toolbar.

•	In the attachments list, highlight the attachment that you want to remove.

Highlight multiple attachments to detach more than one at once. To highlight multiple attachments, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on additional attachment names.

•	Click the Detach button.

You are asked to verify that you want to detach this attachment.

•	Click Yes to proceed.

•	Select the OK button to save attachment changes.

The attachment is no longer assigned to this article. Note that if the attachment was a disk file, the file is NOT deleted from your disk.
