Preferences Dialog Box: Display

Customizes general display options. These settings affect all data files. To save your settings, select the OK button.

This dialog box is displayed when you select the Preferences Command (File Menu).

Toolbars

Use Large Buttons

If this box is checked, the toolbar uses larger buttons.

Display Welcome Screen at Startup

If this box is checked, the Welcome screen is displayed whenever you start Personal Knowbase unless you have already specified to open a file at startup. This screen includes options to create a new file or open an existing file.

Display Splash Screen at Startup

If this box is checked, the splash screen is displayed whenever you start Personal Knowbase. This screen is similar to the screen displayed when you select the About command (Help Menu).

Keep Personal Knowbase on Top

If this box is checked, the Personal Knowbase window stays on top of other windows on your desktop.

Font

Change the default display and printer font for all new data files. Changing this does not affect any existing data files, including a currently open file. The currently selected font is shown to the left of the Font button. See Font Dialog Box.
