Importing by Dragging to the Index Window

You can drag either files or text directly to the Index Window.

Dragging Files

If you drag one or more files directly from Windows Explorer into the Index Window, the files are imported as new articles. The Keywords for Imported Articles Dialog Box is presented for you to assign keywords to the imported articles.

Dragging Text

If you drag a block of text from another application into the Index Window, a new article is created with that text inserted into the article content area. The new article is opened so that you can specify a title and keywords for the article.
