Personal Knowbase imports files in different ways based on their file types. Select which file type you want in the Import Dialog Box. Following are the results of importing each file type:

HTML File |

The text portion of the file becomes a single article, and the title specified in the HTML file becomes the article's title. If the HTML file does not specify a title, the file's name is used. Font formatting is retained, but tables and other structure information is lost. |
Personal Knowbase File |

The other data file's keywords, articles, and keyword groups are merged into the currently open data file. Reminders are not imported. |
Cardfile File |
CRD |
Each card becomes a separate article. |
Delimited Text File |

You will be guided through a series of steps to specify where the article's content, title, date, keywords, and/or attachment are located in the delimited file. |

You must specify a custom format to use. These user-defined formats specify where the article's content, title, date, keywords, and/or attachment are located in the formatted file. |
