To assign keywords to an article:
• | Make sure that the Article Window is open. |
If the Article Window is not open, double-click on the article's title in the Titles column of the Index Window. Refer to the procedure for Entering New Information to create a new article.
• | Double-click on the Keywords list to the right side of the window. |
OR Start typing any keyword you wish to assign into the Keywords list.
The Keywords for Article dialog box is displayed.
• | Type a keyword in the New Keyword edit box and press Enter to assign it to the current article. |
OR Select a keyword from the Available Keywords list box.
Keywords assigned to the article are shown in the Assigned Keywords list box as you assign them.
• | Assign any number of keywords to the article in the same way. |
• | Select the OK button to finish assigning keywords. |
The assigned keywords are shown in the Keywords list to the right side of the Article Window.
TIP: | If a keyword you want to assign appears within the article's text, you can assign the keyword quickly by selecting the word or phrase in the article content area and using the Create Keyword Command (Keyword Menu). |
