Upgrade Information

Version 4.x Users

Licensed users of Personal Knowbase 4:
If you previously purchased Personal Knowbase version 4.0 or later, you are entitled to a free update to version 4.1.3.

Version 2.x and 3.x Users

Licensed users of Personal Knowbase 2 and 3:
If you previously purchased Personal Knowbase but have not yet upgraded to version 4.x, you are entitled to purchase the version 4.1 upgrade for only $24.95 (USD).

If you were not on the mailing list (or if your spam filter ate our mailing) and you were a 2.x or 3.x customer, please contact us to request a coupon code.

Discounted Upgrade Instructions:

1. Order your Personal Knowbase upgrade:

   Follow the link below to connect to our order processor. Enter your upgrade Discount Code in the appropriate field.

2. Watch your email for your new registration information for the upgrade.

3. Download the new software:

   Click here to download the latest Personal Knowbase installation file:

   System Requirements: Windows 11, 10, 8 or 8.1 (excepting Win RT), 7, Vista (including 64-bit 10, 8, 7, or Vista), or XP

   File Size: 4.83 MB

4. Install the software:

   1. Run PKSETUP.EXE from your download folder.

   2. Follow the installation instructions on the screen.

   3. Install this version in the same folder as your previous version.

      As long as you install the new version over the old one, your user preferences will remain in effect.

   4. We recommend that you keep a backup copy of the original downloaded file in case you need to re-install the software someday.

5. Enter your registration information by copying your registration email to the Clipboard and clicking on the "Register Now..." button when you run the software.
