You can view tabled data in Article Windows by using simple tab delimiters between columns. To prevent your columns from wrapping onto the next line, you can turn off the Word Wrap option for an article or for new articles created in a data file.
To prevent lines from wrapping in a specific article's Article Window:
• | Make sure that the Article Window is open. |
If the Article Window is not open, double-click on the article's title in the Titles column of the Index Window. Refer to the procedure for Entering New Information to create a new article.
• | Select the Article Properties command from the Article menu. |
The Article Properties dialog box is displayed.
• | Click on the Word Wrap checkbox. |
If the box is checked, lines wrap within this article. If the box is not checked, lines do not wrap.
• | Select the OK button to close the Article Properties dialog box. |
To prevent lines from wrapping for all new articles in the current data file:
• | Select the File Properties command from the File menu. |
The File Properties dialog box is displayed.
• | Click on the Word Wrap checkbox. |
If the box is checked, the Word Wrap property is set for all new articles. If the box is not checked, the property is not set.
• | Select the OK button to close the File Properties dialog box. |
