This is the final step of the Custom Import Wizard. You have specified that this custom import format stores each article's fields (content, title, keywords, and so on) on predetermined line numbers. You need to specify which line(s) each field occupies. Your sample file is displayed in the Sample File Preview pane for your reference.
Select the Back button to return to the previous step of the wizard. Select the Finish button to complete the wizard and save the custom format. Select Cancel to return to the Manage Custom Formats Dialog Box and lose any changes you have made.
Fields Table
This table has a row for each field represented in your custom file format. Select the Back button to change which fields are included. For each field, specify which line, how many lines, and what part of that line it occupies.
Begin Line
Enter the line number within the article where each field starts. This must be entered for each field.
Note that this value is relative to the first line of the article, not the first line of the file. So, if an article starts on line 81 of the file, and the Title's Begin Line is "3", then the Title is taken from line 83 for that article.
Number of Lines
Enter the total number of lines that each field uses. Leave this cell blank to include all lines up to the end of the corresponding article.
Begin Column
Enter the character column number where each field starts. This must be entered for each field.
End Column
Enter the column number of the last character of each field. The End Column cannot be smaller than the Begin Column for each field. Leave this cell blank to include all text to the end of the line(s).
Article Length
If the Article Length value is displayed, then in a previous step, you specified that each article in this format always uses this specific number of lines. You may change the total number of lines here if necessary.
