Setting a reminder for an article causes an alert to pop up at a given date and time with a pointer to this article.
To set a reminder for an article:
• | Highlight the article's title in the Titles column of the Index Window. |
OR Open the article's Article Window by double-clicking on its title in the Index Window.
• | Select the Set Reminder command from the Article menu. |
The Edit Reminder dialog box is displayed. This article's title is preselected in the Article Title field.
• | In the Remind me on field, type a date or select one from the calendar drop-menu box. |
• | In the time field, type a time or select one with the up and down arrows. |
• | Select the OK button. |
A reminder is now set. An alert box will pop up at as soon as possible after the specified date and time.
NOTE: | For reminder alerts to pop up, Personal Knowbase must be running. Reminders are only popped up which are associated with articles in a currently open data file. |
