Searches articles for a specified text string. Enter a string to seek in the Find Dialog Box. Personal Knowbase shows you each occurrence of the specified string in the Article Window for each article in the specified Search Range.

 

If multiple articles are searched, all articles in the Search Range containing the string are listed in the Index Window. Optionally, you can list the titles of the articles containing the string without showing each string occurrence.

 

You may also specify a date range to restrict the results. If dates are specified without a Find What string, all articles in the date range are found.

 

To access this command quickly, select the Find button from the Standard Toolbar.

 

The keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F performs this command. To replace specified text with other text, use the Replace Command (Edit Menu).
