Merge Keyword Dialog Box

This dialog box combines the keyword which was highlighted in the Index column of the Index Window with the keyword selected here.

Select the OK button to merge the keywords. The merged keyword is deleted from the data file, and all articles which were associated with the merged keyword are now associated with the Into keyword selected here.

Select the Cancel button to exit without making changes to the keywords. Merging keywords is not undoable.

Merge:

Displays the keyword which you highlighted in the Index or Selected column of the Index Window. This keyword will be merged into the keyword selected in the Into column below and will be deleted from the data file.

Into:

Select the keyword from this column that you wish to merge with the previously highlighted keyword shown above.
