Selects an existing data file to compact. This is the first dialog box displayed when you select the Compact Command (File Menu). Select the Open button to compact the selected file. Select Cancel to cancel the operation.

Select the folder that contains the file you want to compact.

 

File Name

 

Select or type the name of the data file you want to compact. All Personal Knowbase data files in the selected folder are shown.

 

Files of Type

 

Only Personal Knowbase data files may be compacted.
